Доктор Шарль Одье, доктор из Романской Швейцарии, участвовал в развитии психоанализа во Франции. Он первым откликнулся на работу госпожи Сешоэ, что могло способствовать ее мировому успеху.

   Dr Charles Odier - a French-speaking Swiss Doctor who had taken part in the psychanalysis in France- was the first to realise the worldwide importance of Mrs Sechehaye's works.

   Уже в 1947г., он написал предисловие к эссе о ее методе символической реализации, более того, написал с явным воодушевлением.
   Тремя годами позже, в 1950г., Пресс Юниверситэр де Франс (университетские издания Франции), в свою очередь оказались заинтересованными, опубликовав "Дневник больной шизофренией", и именно тогда работа госпожи Сешоэ определенно вошла в историю.
   Сегодня, по прошествии пятидесяти лет, ничего из того, что вдохновляло эту женщину, швейцарского психолога, во время лечения ее больной Ренэ, не было взято под сомнение. Потерян счет переизданиям ее работы на романском языке. Потерян счет ее переводам и еще большему количеству ссылок на нее авторов – последователей госпожи Сешоэ.
   Хотя мы не занимаемся систематической инвентаризацией следов этого до сих пор стойкого влияния (задача трудная, не сказать – невозможная) многочисленные ссылки на ее работу, которые мы смогли собрать, подтверждают, что знакомство с историей Ренэ распространилось за пределы границ.

   As soon as 1947, he indeed wrote the foreword of the test to her on her method of symbolic realisation with a non dissimulated passion.
   Three years later, in 1950, and whereas the University Presses of France are still at their beginnings, it is the publication of the Autobiography of a schizophrenic girl which will definitively carry Mrs. Sechehaye's work to the posterity.
   Today, whereas fifty years have passed, nothing of what had prevailed with the inspiration of this Swiss psychologist in the control of the treatment of her patient was contradicted. One does not count any more the number of reéditions in latin languages anymore. One does not count any more the number of translations and even less the number of references carried out by the authors who succeeded to her anymore.
   Although we didn't make a systematic approach to gather the still long-lived traces of this influence (difficult task not to say impossible), the many quotations which we succeeded in gathering testify that the knowledge of Renee's case was transmitted beyond the borders.

   Это знание распространено среди всех, кто занимается гуманитарными науками (психиатры, психологи, специалисты по психоанализу, психиатрические медсестры, педагоги…) решающие эту необъятную проблему с разных сторон. Это наглядно демонстрирует, что знакомство с историей Ренэ вошло отныне в коллективную память.

   The fact that it is divided by all those which of all horizons had to approach the vast sector of the social sciences (psychiatrists, psychologists, psychoanalists, psychiatric male nurses, educationalists) demonstrates it belongs from now on, to the collective memory.
