Nonostante che la schizofrenia resti la malattia mentale più ribelle a qualsiasi terapia psicoterapica, questo anche secondo l'opinione di specialisti in scienze umane, esistono fortunatamente dei contro-esempi.Il caso più famoso, fu pubblicizzato negli anni '70, grazie a un film sulla vita di Renata, curata dalla dottoressa Sechehaye 20 anni prima.

Whereas schizophrenia remains in the very spirit of the specialists in social sciences the most rebellious mental illness to any form in psychotherapy treatment, there are fortunately counterexamples. The most famous one was carried to the attention of a large public in the Seventies by the adaptation to the cinema of Renee's case which had been treated by Mrs. Sechehaye twenty years before.

Grazie alle numerose edizioni e riedizioni che, a partire da allora, hanno reso nota questa storia con il titolo Il diario di una schizofrenica, in tutti i campi riguardanti più o meno la psichiatria (ospedali, centri di ricerca, università...), sia in Francia che all'estero, è venuto il momento di utilizzare tutte queste informazioni per offrire una piattaforma di scambi a tutti coloro che ancora oggi, e sono numerosi, proseguono in questa via di ricerca.
Una parte del sito è dunque simultaneamente accessibile ad un pubblico di lingua francese, inglese, italiana, tedesca, spagnola, portoghese, olandese e russa: la presentazione del caso di Renata, del caso di Laura, del film italiano di Nelo Rizi prodotto nel 1968 e il laboratorio messo a disposizione per gli studenti, gli scienziati e gli insegnanti universitari, per scambiare informazioni e conoscere le varie attività, in attesa, forse, di un forum su argomenti fondamentali.

Because of the many editions and reeditions which since then have made this story known under the title of The Autobiography of a schizophrenic girl in all the sectors concerning psychiatry (hospitals, research centers, universities...) as much in France as abroad, the moment has come to the full potentialities of the network to offer a platform of regrouping and communications to all those which, still today and they are numerous proceeds in this way of research. A part of the site is thus simultaneously accessible to the french-speaking and anglophone public: the presen- tation of Renee's case, the presentation of Laura's case, the presentation of the Italian film of Nelo Rizi produced in 1968, and the laboratory placed at the disposal of the students, of the researches, the teachers of universities, to exchange information and inform about their activities while perhaps waiting for the creation of a forum on basic questions.
